Rootsearch: Calling for info

Yo all,

After a long delay I've finally put my hands on this, and I need your help - do you happen to have any:
Old letters, photographs, notes, or verbal stories heard from our previous generation?

Altered the main content of the project a little: thought of focusing more on the past than the present, but can perhaps touch on it a bit to portray how ancient traditions have or have not been passed down over the years. What do you think? Your information and comments are much appreciated! ^^

Project: Rootsearch

Yo all,

This is a suggestion to compile the history, important events and current lifestyle of our family into one book. The idea was initiated sometime ago, when I suddenly realised that I never really knew our own grandfather and decided to explore the depths of the family tree, so as to ensure memories of the past are not forgotten in future.

I was thinking that instead of writing a novel-like long and continuous piece, the contents can be presented in the form of a collection of short essays, which might be easier and lighter to read. The three main sections involve the history (like how life at Old Klang Road was like), memorable events, and the way our family lives and keeps in touch with each other today (new year/ christmas/ "anytime, anywhere" gatherings?).

However nothing is confirmed yet; please give some opinions on this, thanks a lot.

a new beginning

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure whether this idea of creating a blog of our own is good or not, anyhow, it won't harm to give it a try. My friends and i find this is a very efficient way to update each other the latest progress and news. And that's why i thought of creating one for our family. cheers!!
